Accordingly, 2.4 Billion rubles have been allocated for FEFU's R & D projects which are conducted in 350 hi-tech Laboratories. FEFU is the first university in Russia to launch Master's degree programs in English in collaboration with world-renowned universities.
Innovative learning process
Whether you miss a class when taking part in sports competitions or when staying home sick, you will be able to catch up with your studies at FEFU thanks to our Learning Management System (LMS). All classes are equipped with cameras and conference facilities, allowing you to have meetings with your academic partners from other universities worldwide or to attend global lectures given over the internet by world-famous professors. You can also supplement your education by using our online libraries and by visiting open lectures in faculties outside your specialty.

At FEFU we believe that the knowledge you receive at the university should be applicable elsewhere. So, in addition to our university faculty, we host honored professors from the Russian Academy of Sciences as well as professors from all over the world. Lecturers from different fields share their experience and recommendations to widen students' global perspectives.
Perfect facilities for study and fun
The brand new FEFU campus opened its doors for students immediately after the APEC summit, which took place in Vladivostok in September 2012. The first students to enter the campus used facilities that were only recently enjoyed by the presidents of the 21 member-countries of APEC. On this ultra-modern campus, students not only have classrooms and state-of-the-art research and development laboratories, but also top-class dormitories, and outstanding dining and sports facilities. An abundance of academic and leisure activities is never more than 10 minutes away.
History and reputation
The universities that were combined to establish FEFU have a history of scholarship dating back more than 120 years. All of them are well known across Russia and worldwide. Far Eastern State University diplomas are acknowledged throughout the world and the university's law graduates are currently working in the US, China and other countries, both in multinational companies and in the government.
International environment
For centuries, people of 128 ethnic backgrounds have been living in the Primorsky territory together, sharing their values, achievements, and cultures. This region of Russia can be called the most multi-cultural. Tolerance and cohesion are the main principles of people living here. Get the most out of all the cultures represented in the University's student body – at FEFU we have an Indian dance club, a Korean drum club, taekwondo lessons and many of things for you to do. You can find friends here from many countries.

Government scholarships
Thanks to its official status in the Russian Federation, students of FEFU have an opportunity to receive government-funded scholarships.
