This page includes information for students to participate in academic exchange programs based on the Agreements with our partner universities. The exchange students come to spend only one or two academic semesters at our university and they do not get a degree in Russia.

We kindly inform you that according to the Russian migration legislation since 2018 all foreign citizens must pay a state duty to get an Invitation Letter in order to obtain a Russian visa.

All international students (students of higher education programs, exchange students, students of the preparatory training programs, and short-course training programs) who arrived in Russia are required to undergo a medical examination, state fingerprint registration, and photographing no later than 90 calendar days from the date of arrival to Russia. Far Eastern Federal University arranges the organizational part of the procedures.

Based on that the cost of processing for a single foreign citizen coming to the Academic mobility program or a short-term educational program (summer/ winter schools) in the amount of 1 300 rubles.
