The Russian Language and Culture Module classes will be taught by the instructors who have their MA degrees in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language and who are eager to help students with improving their Russian language skills from beginner’s level to advanced.
Russian Language and Culture classes appear in the Summer School Program twice:
first as a mandatory class for all of the Summer School students (the class that is taught between 9:00 and 10:30) that would be focused on speaking,
and second as an elective module for students who choose to study it among the other modules (the classes that are taught between 10:45 and 12:15, and between 13:30 and 15:00). Classes taught in this module would be focused on the grammar, writing, and culture.
For the purposes of taking of both classes students will divided into the language groups based on their Russian language capacity after taking the Russian language placement test.
