Alexander Sokolov “Studying at Far Eastern Federal University gave me a good theoretical and practical base in linguistics and computer disciplines and provided a solid platform for my professional growth. During my studies, I learned about the solutions to language-related real-life problems, improved my English and French language skills, and met a lot of highly motivated and talented young people and great professors. I really enjoyed studying here, in this picturesque place with state-of-the art facilities, and after my graduation, I decided to pursue a master’s degree at FEFU to go even further. Who would have thought back then that after all I would be working here in the International Relations department and teaching English to freshmen?” |

“FEFU has given me a huge amount of skills in the field of foreign languages. I really appreciate this knowledge and use it daily in my work in an international environment. I really feel confident when I speak a foreign language and understand that I am a true professional in my field, performing translation, and intercultural communication work. Being a high-demand specialist, I constantly get good feedback about the quality of my work and I am grateful to FEFU for the training I had.” |

Valeria Genze “The Master's program at FEFU allowed me to develop and improve my skills in teaching English language and gave some basics of translation. Studying in FEFU expanded my knowledge of English-speaking world. After graduating I've got an opportunity to teach at the Fundamental and Applied Linguistics is a perfect program for immersion in modern linguistics. The program has given me basic language knowledge and skills that are necessary for the implementation of professional and scientific activities. As the program is at the «intersection of sciences», in addition to purely humanitarian skills, I have gained knowledge in areas such as programming and desktop publishing. As a result, this program opens up opportunities for continuing studies in master's programs, both humanitarian and technical.” |
