Planned activities and types of interaction

According to the Action Plan for the implementation of the program to improve the competitiveness of the Far Eastern Federal University for 2013-2020, the University develops and implements the strategy of management and development of the campus infrastructure. In view of this, an event is planned to create a scientific and technical advance for the design and construction of intelligent energy systems based on renewable energy sources in order to work on scientific and technical tasks, approbate innovative technologies and technical solutions.



Prospective sites for the design and construction of Intellectual Power Systems

This project is a large-scale one by the standards of the Far East and it covers several scientific areas. In order to organize the fruitful work on the project in terms of the scientific advance it is necessary to attract the maximum number of interested professionals from the Far Eastern Federal District. The fruitful work will be understood as the cooperation of competent experts aimed at achieving the set goal and solving operational tasks of the project. Note that the Far East is the only region in Russia that has 2 federal universities. The region also includes large state educational institutions that have many years of experience in training engineers in key areas.

The considered example of an event indicates that today there is the need for highly qualified specialists. The creation of the Far Eastern section of IEEE will only help attract professionals to the interaction in terms of implementing projects and planned activities.

Let us consider another example of cooperation. As part of the Far Eastern section, a large-scale International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon) was initiated, which will be held in FEFU campus on October 2nd 2018. The conference covers the following areas of scientific interest: communication, network and broadcast technologies; components, circuits, devices and systems; nuclear engineering; power and industry, robotics and control systems; signal processing and analysis. The purpose of the conference is to contribute to informing the scientists and practitioners about the most promising areas of research and achievements in the field of industrial engineering.
