Calculations for the stressed state of the ship hull under torsion
The article presents the results of the investigation on the stressed state of a ship compartment under changes of the deck opening, those of the area of the longitudinal hatch coaming and the hull height carried out with the use of the approximation formulas. The obtained diagrams allow performing a comparative assessment of the effects of these factors to be taken into consideration in engineering practice.
