The Vladivostok solid domestic waste landfill as ecological risk of polluting the nearby rivers
Abstract: The article presents the results of time calculations and the expected outlet of polluted waters from the area of the solid domestic waste landfill including the valleys of Desantny and Rybachy Creeks as well as Boljshaya Pionerskaya River marked on map N 2. It has been demonstrated that highly probable are environmental problems from the continued operation of the new solid waste landfill of Vladivostok located in the valley of Bezymyanny Creek. Recommendation has been made to minimise the eventual negative impact of the polluted waters on the environment.
Key words: landfill, pollution, surface water, analysis of geological materials.
