Review of research of fatigue properties of welded joints under high-frequency loading
Abstract: Despite the fact that welding is the most common method of joining materials, the effect of high loading frequencies (high-frequency vibrations) on the fatigue characteristics and performance of welded structures during their operation is not well understood. Submitted by us review of studies of fatigue properties of materials, including those with welded joints, under high-frequency stressing conditions will help to expand our knowledge on this topic.
Keywords: high-frequency tests, gigacycle fatigue, microstructure, microhardness.
