Electrostatic phenomena in rock formations sliding under conditions of high hydrostatic pressure

The paper deals with the generation of electro mechanical fields investigated with the aim of revealing a shift that can be used as a model of the movement of the Earth’s crust along the existing fracture.

Key words: deformation, electrometer, polarisation, charge relaxation, induced electric field.
