Ship shaftlines torsional vibration measuring method using the three-axis accelerometer
Abstract. The article considers the issue of choosing the optimal method for torsional vibration measurements. The presented materials are part of a dissertation research aimed at improving the ship’s shaftlines torsional vibration amplitude’s calculation accuracy. The description of the torsional vibration measuring methods and their main features is given. To approve the measurements quality obtained by the chosen method, a physical experiment, which description also given in the article, was performed. The experiment’s results showed that the using of the chosen method allows to higher the accuracy of obtained results.
