Design, construction method and method for calculating drainage of road tunnels

Abstract. The purpose of the work is to develop a design, a drainage method and substantiate the calculation method using the example of the Skolkovo automobile tunnel. The article presents a new drainage design and a method for calculating it to increase the effectiveness of the drainage action under operating conditions of automobile tunnels. The recommended drainage design, the method of its construction (a patent for the invention was received) and the calculation method were tested when draining the Skolkovo automobile tunnel. It is shown that the construction of drainage systems carried out in the 21st century requires a thoughtful approach to using the experience of the previous period in the design and operation of drainage systems and the use of new promising, cost-effective solutions
