Regularities of the influence of polymeric coverings on the resistance of concrete to the effect of cyclic mechanical loadings
The article presents the results of the research work in the optimisation of epoxy composites modified by coal tar as well as those in the strength of concrete having a polymeric covering. It has been demonstrated that the fatigue durability of concrete increases up to 2.5 times according to the thickness of covering in relation to the height of section. Besides, the numerical sizes of the coefficients of absorption for concrete without covering and that with a polymeric covering of various thickness have been determined, which makes it possible to define the coefficient of the absorption for the whole of the composite.
