Mineral resources base of the Primorsky Krai (a survey)

Abstract: The article presents a survey covering the topical issues of the mineral resource base of the Far Eastern Federal District as well as the actual and potential opportunities of one of its most promising territories known as Primorsky Krai. It presents and unveils the potential of the geological survey organisations as well as the prospects of the development of the bowels for the local mining enterprises. It provides information on a number of issues: the state of the mineral resource base of the Primorksy mining industry, the mining conditions of exploitation, the ore mining and enrichment technologies, the ecology, etc. Distinguished are the basic tasks of strengthening the Primorsky mineral resource complex including the economic reassessment of a number of raw material sources and the development of both traditional and promising mineral raw materials.
