Features of the formation of the architectural and spatial environment
of intergenerational centers

Abstract: The need to create intergenerational centers is due to global socio-cultural changes in society, such as age segregation, cultural gap between generations and age value asymmetry. The problem under study is relevant due to the lack of scientifically developed concepts of the architectural and spatial environment of intergenerational centers in Russia. The purpose of this study is to identify the features of the formation of the architectural and spatial environment of intergenerational centers. This study analyzes the theoretical concepts and practical experience of designing intergenerational centers, on the basis of which the architectural and spatial principles and methods of designing the architectural and spatial environment of intergenerational centers are formulated.

Keywords: intergenerational space, intergenerational relationship, architectural and spatial organization, children and elderly
