The ways to improve competitiveness of dry building gypsum mixtures
Abstract: Dry building mixtures must have a wide range of consumer properties including crack resistance. The paper presents the ways to increase the competitiveness of gypsum mixture accounting for this parameter. One of the methods is microreinforcement with polymeric fibrous fiber. It has been found that the addition of 3 and 6 mm length polyamide fiber to the mixture increases the compressive and bending strengths, and adhesion by about 1.5 times. The crack resistance index was obtained for a composition containing 3 mm length fiber in an amount of 0.4% of the mass. The tests were made for comparison of indicators of consumer properties of the obtained mixtures with existing on market, resulting to obtained mixtures were best.
