Assessment of the potential level of automation of construction logs when maintained in electronic form

Abstract. While justifying the feasibility of switching to electronic building logs, we were faced with the lack of an empirical assessment of the expected level of automation. As a result of the analysis of the current regulations on the maintenance of construction logs, certificates of inspection of hidden works, as well as regulations of construction control, a schematic diagram, and rules for the formation of construction logs in electronic form have been compiled. The results of this article note a twofold, potentially, reduction in the complexity of maintaining construction logs.

Additionally, we have considered issues that affect the achievement of the resulting level of labor intensity reduction. They should be given increased attention at the preparation stage so that further digitalization of processes will lead to success and not be reduced to a loss-making project.

Keywords: automation of construction log, information systems, the problems of digitalization in building
